His thoughts amazingly fit my own.

Web Evolution

Today I’ve read Yihong Ding article “Evolution of the World Wide Web”. I considered it’s the best article about Semantic Web I ever read. Honestly.

He compares Web evolution stages with human’s growing up stages. It pretty interesting, and well…it works! )

There is a lot of other stuff in his article, but I wanna sleep already!

Tim O’Reilly talk at Startup School

I love it:

Tim O’Reilly gave a talk at Paul Graham’s Startup School  at April 30, 2006.

What I’ve learned from Tim:

1. Be passionate about what you’re doing.
2. Have a big goal.
3. Search things that turn out to be cool.

• Watch the alpha geeks
• Pay attention to anomalies
• Look for patterns
• Extrapolate logic
• Take the long view

And as Kurzweil said: “I’m an inventor. I became interested in long term trends because an invention has to make sense in the world in which it is finished, not the world in which it is started.”

Well…That it is….I must  determine long term trend in all this stuff…I have some ideas and now I need to take them closer and start seriously play! hehe

Backpack for lappy

I need to choose backpack for my laptop.

This one is pretty cool, but it’s big! However, it has portable laptop case inside. And, of cours, I can put into my training suite. And dvd, papers, textbooks, copybooks, etc.

And is has 2 handles outside. One on the top and one on the right side. So I can bear it as a case.

The problem is that I can’t try it, cos it’s available for order only in my location…

Update: No….I think this one is too big…

Если кто не словил фичу - он с дискретной графикой, а не интегрированной!!!! А это значит привет Халва2, Обливион и HDTV!!!!))))

Время работы, типа:

Гаматься по полной - 1 час 45 мин

Смотреть фильм по WiFi - 3 часа 40 мин

Лазить в инете - 4 часа 30 мин

имхо, если вырубить WiFi и Bluetooth и че-нить кодить, то протянет часов 5

Неплохо для 12” с нехилой графикой! Кросавчег!)
